The Trek Program
7th-8th Grade Youth
The Trek Roadsign Series is exciting, challenging, and highly relevant to middle school students. Before teens begin the series they go through a small introductory book called Trek Check. They then go through the Trek book which contains two Bible study sections.
Section 1- “GPS: God’s Positioning System for your Trek- Exploring the Bible”
This section covers the history of the Bible, how we can know the Bible is true, and the books from Genesis to Revelation.
Section 2- “Detour: Getting Through Tough Times by Following God and His Word”
The Christian life is not a smooth road and in this Bible study teens will find answers to tough questions and guidance for a variety of situations. Hopelessness, doubt, sin and temptation, and God’s presence and comfort are a few of the topics discussed.
In both sections teens memorize verses, answer questions, and learn key words. For those who want extra credit, there are “Take the Trek Challenge” sections which assign a project to help the teen dig deeper.
